Distance between two men = 230.93 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Two men are standing on either side of a cliff

Height of cliff = 100 m

Tan (angle of elevation)  = Cliff Height / Horizontal Distance of Man from Cliff

Tan 30° = 100/d1

=> 1/√3 = 100/d1

=> d1 = 100√3

Tan 60° = 100/d2

=> √3 = 100/d2

=> d2 = 100/√3

=> d2 = 100√3/3

d1 + d2 = 100√3 + 100√3/3

= 400√3/3

= 400 * 1.732/3

= 230.93

Distance between two men = 230.93 m
