then, 4 days*a= work(w) —— a=w/4

; 6 days*b= work(w)——b=w/6

when they work together— (a+b)*x days=w

(w/4 + w/6)* xdays=w—— x= 2.4 (days)= 2 days 9 hours and 36 minutes
