Let two men be A and B respectively,

So, B's days work in one day = 1/6

•°• A's days work in one day = 1/3

Now, According to the Question!

(A+B)'s 1 days work = 1/6 + 1/3

(A+B)'s 1 days work = 1 + 2/6

(A+B)'s 1 days work = 3/6

( A+B)'s 1 days work = 1/2

(A+B)'s 1 days work = 3/2 ,

Hence, They will finish the work in 2 days.

In this Question, It is that Two men can do a piece of work in 3 days and 6 days respectively.

One man can do this work in one day = 1/3

Second man can do this work in one day = 1/6;

If they work together, ( one + Second)'s work = 1/3 + 1/6

( one + Second)'s work =1+2/6

( one + Second)'s work = 3/6

(one + Second)'s work =1/2

•°• ( one + Second)'s work = 2
