THE QUOTE OVERLOAD- BY AnviGottlieb
❇this is really a meaningful question which I would love answering . the main essence of this question comes out in the fact that that it carves out the humanitarian characters of different people which are never alike..
❇Every person has a different perception and perspectives regarding anything , which is highly propogated in this quote by Frederick langbridge - I can surely say that this quote by this 19th century writer has never gone out fashion till today.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
✒ everyone may look on this quote as a different way of expression , which is necessary to state here , but I most say that this can be interpreted in different ways and manners - with different thinkings crossing the ways.
✒ as I searched down on Fredrick langbridge and his works , what I found was really interesting to State - this suite of his the most famous one from most probably his book - "The scales of Heaven" . more interestingly , we will realise later the importance of this .
✒ in my opinion , this basis gist of this quote us the double minded thought of people - the two sides of humanitarian characters - one pessimistic and the other optimistic . in my words of explanation - this quote simply means - "when two people look out of the prison in which they have been taking penance of their deeds , one sees the ray of hope to start a new life and forget the past , - i.e. the stars , while the other looks outside the prison only to see his life turning more wretched with time , he aspires for revenge hatred etc . "
✒ this prison nay also be compared to the prison if your mind , your soul , or any insurmountable task that seems unrealistic to you . if refers to your ability how you look on at it to face it , whether you aim at the stars , or you think of dumping everything in the mud .
✒ another interesting observation can be of two people spending time in prison , encountering difficulties everyday , one of them is disturbed in grief and is pessimistic regarding his life - compared to mud . and the other man knows that the stars - (God-the almighty) is there to help in this situation.
☑ hence , I think that whatever the reason behind the quoting of this quote may be , but the real thing that comes out Is eradication of the pessimist prisoner you have inside yourself . :)

Hi friend,
Your answer:
'Two Men Look Outside The Prison Bars; One Sees Mud, The Other Stars.'
The basic idea that this quote wants to convey is that everyone does not see a thing from the same perspective.
In the quote, the two men seem to be prisoners. One sees merely what is right outside while the other man looks beyond showing his longing to be free. One is a pessimist, another is an optimist. One is hopeless while the other one is hopeful. One will perhaps be miserable while the other will live on to be free.
This quote can be taken as a word example of the half-glass experiment. The half-glass experiment also conveys the same about different perspectives.
Hence, the quote means that -
Even though we all are humans, we all think, perceive and see differently.
Hope it helps!
