Ratio of nitin and muni monthly Savings =  3: 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Nitin Income =  24X

Muni income =  20X

muni saves 1/4th of his income

=> Muni Saves = 20X/4 = 5X

Muni expenditure = 20X - 5X = 15X

ratio of nitin and muni monthly expenditure is 3:2

nitin Expenditure = (15X/2) * 3 = 22.5X

Nitiin Saving  = 24X - 22.5X = 1.5X

ratio of nitin and muni monthly Savings = 1.5X : 5X

=> 3X : 10X

=> 3 : 10

A sample data:

Income Saving Expenditure

Nitin 48    3         45

Muni 40    10         30
