10

Answer:

10 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Refer the diagram

XZ =XQ

In Δ XYZ

Hypotenuse^2= Perpendicular ^2 +Base^2

XZ^2= XY ^2 +YZ^2

XZ^2= 4^2 +3^2

XZ^2=16 +9

XZ^2=25

XZ=\sqrt{25}

XZ=5

So, XZ =XQ =5

Distance between them = XZ+XQ=5+5=10 m

Hence the distance between them is 10 m.
