work function for A= hγ₀
work function for B=hγ¹₀
hγ₀ = 2eV
h/λ₀ = 2eV
λ₀ = h/2eV
and similarly
hγ¹₀ = 4eV
hλ¹₀ = 4eV
λ¹₀ = h/4eV
therfore λ¹₀∠λ₀
hence
threshold frequency for metal A is greater than threshold frequency fo metal B.
