Two mirrors are kept perpendicular to each other as shown in the given figure. A ray strikes one mirror at an angle of 20° to the normal. Find the value of angle of reflection for the mirror BC.

70 degree because angle of incidence is always equal to angle of reflection. for the 1st mirror angle of incidence is 20 degree,so angle of reflection should also be 20 degree.for the second mirror the reflected ray of the 1st mirror is incident ray to it. so the angle of incidence is 70 degree because normal and mirror make angle of 90 degree,so if u see closely then u will find that the normal of mirror AB is parallel to mirror BC and the incident ray for the second mirror is like a transversal so alternate interior angles should be equal,so it is 20 and 90-20=70 degree. angle of reflection should also be 70 degree.
