Given : two mixtures equal quantity contain wine,water ,alcohol in the ratio of 6:5:3 &3:5:6 respectively ,from the mixture 20% of wine &25 % of water &40% of alcohol is taken out  from both containers

To find :  new ratio of Mixtures

Solution:

two mixtures equal quantity contain wine,water ,alcohol in the ratio of 6:5:3 &3:5:6

Let say Wine in mixture 1  = 6 A

            Water in mixture 1= 5A

          Alcohol in Maxture 1 = 3A

Total = 6A + 5A + 3A  = 14A

in Maxture 2

      Wine =  3A

      Water = 5A

      Alcohol = 6A

20% of wine &25 % of water &40% of alcohol is taken out

Mixture 1  :

Remaining wine = 6A -(20/100)6A  = 4.8A

Remaining water  = 5A -(25/100)5A  = 3.75A

Remaining Alcohol   = 3A -(40/100)3A  = 1.8A

Ratio   4.8 : 3.75 : 1.8

=> 480 : 375 : 180

=> 32  : 25 : 12

Mixture 3  :

Remaining wine = 3A -(20/100)3A  = 2.4A

Remaining water  = 5A -(25/100)5A  = 3.75A

Remaining Alcohol   = 6A -(40/100)6A  = 3.6A

2.4 : 3.75 : 3.6

=> 240 : 375 : 360

=> 16 : 25 : 24

Ratio of new mixture : 32  : 25 : 12  &  16 : 25 : 24
