Step-by-step explanation:

Two mixtures that contain water and wine are mixed in the ratio of 4 : 5.

let us consider the 1st mixture is 4x and 2end is 5x.

It is given the first mixture is 20 litres.

so 4x = 20 => x = 5 litres

now the ammount of 2nd mixture = 5×5 = 25 litres

the ratio of water and wine in the 2nd mixture is 2:3.

let us consider the ammount of water is 2y and the ammount of wine is 3y.

so total mixture = 3y + 2y = 5y

but we know that the ammount of 2nd mixture is 25 litres.

so 5y = 25 litres

=> y = 5 litres

Hence, the ammount of wine = (5×3) = 15 litres
