Two moles each of O2 and H2 are in two separate containers, each of volume V0 and at 150°C and 1 atmosphere. The two are made to react in a third container to form water vapour until H2 is exhausted. When the temperature of the mixture in the third container was restored to 150°C, its pressure became 1 atmosphere. The volume of the third container must be

as 2 moles of h2 combine with 1 mole of 02 so 2 moles of h20 will be formed..in aqeuous state and 1 mole of o2 is left..thus by taking 1 mole of 02 and neglecting h20..apply the ideal gas eqn pv=nrt
