T=30+ 250
T= 280N
T-25g = 25x1.2
T-25g= 30N......... (i)
T-16g= 16 x a
280-160=16 x a
120 = 16 x a
a = 120/ 16
a = 7.5 m/s^2
• Monkey with 16 kg climbs with a = 7.5 m/s^2.
• Monkey with 25 kg climbs with a = 1.2 m/s^2.
Hence, Monkey with 16 kg will reach the banana first.
