Two native states of carbon are diamond and graphite.

• When an element is naturally available in it's pure state in our environment without any kind of mixture with another elements, then that available element is considered as the native state of that element.

• Similarly, the carbon is present in various forms in our environment due to it's catenation property. Eg. diamond and graphite.

• These pure forms of carbon are also native states of the carbon.
