The larger number is 200.

Given:-

Difference between two natural numbers = 150

Larger number = 4*Smaller number

To Find:-

The larger number.

Solution:-

We can simply find out the larger number by using the following process.

As

Difference between two natural numbers = 150

Larger number = 4*Smaller number

Let the larger number be x and the smaller number be y.

So, the difference =

x - y = 150

x = 4y

on putting the value of x,

4y - y = 150

3y = 150

y =  \frac{150}{3}

y = 50

Now,

x = 4y

x = 4 \times 50

x = 200

Hence, The larger number is 200.
