Formation of Nitrogen

nitrogen has 5 electrons in it's valence shell and complete the outermost shell . It needs 3 more electrons . So , every nitrogen atom shares it's three electrons with another atom of nitrogen. So, there is a triple covalent bond between two nitrogen atom.
