let the numbers be 2x and 3x
if 4 is subtracted
2x-4 /3x-4 = 3/5
5*(2x-4)  =  3*(3x-4)
10x-20 = 9x-12
x=8
the numbers are 2x and 3x = 2(8) and 3(8)
=(16 , 24)

Yaduvanshi2: Awnser is wrong.
nandhinimouli: answer is option a) as karthik said :)

A/q,
 \frac{2x-4}{3x-4} = \frac{3}{5}
or, 10x-20=9x-12
or, 10x-9x=20-12
so, X = 8
therefore numbers will be 2x = 2*8 = 16 And 3x = 24
