Two no. Are in ratio 2:3. If 4 be subtracted from each, they are in ratio 3:5. The no. Are???

if 4 is subtracted
2x-4 /3x-4 = 3/5
5*(2x-4)  =  3*(3x-4)
10x-20 = 9x-12
x=8
the numbers are 2x and 3x = 2(8) and 3(8)
=(16 , 24)
