Solution :

❍ Let us assume, that the numbers are 4x and 5x respectively.

According to the question,

$\sf{ \leadsto \: \dfrac{4x - 7}{5x - 7} = \dfrac{3}{4} }$

$\sf{ \leadsto \: 3(5x - 7) = 4(4x - 7) }$

$\sf{ \leadsto \: 15x - 21 = 16x - 28}$

$\sf{ \leadsto \: (-21) + 28 = 16x - 15x}$

$\sf{ \leadsto \: x = 7}$

Therefore, the numbers are :
