Hii friend,

Let the greater Number and smaller Number be X and Y.

According to question,

X - Y = 3.......(1)

And,

3X + 2Y = 19.....(2)

From equation 1 we get,

X - Y = 3

X = 3+Y.....(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

3X + 2Y = 19

3(3+Y) +2Y = 19

9 + 3Y +2Y = 19

5Y = 19-9=> 10

Y = 10/5 => 2

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = 3+Y => 3+2 => 5

Therefore,

greater Number = X = 5

And,

Smaller Number = Y = 2.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.... :-)

Let the numbers are :-

• x
• y

================
x - y = 3
x = 3 + y
=================

Now, two numbers are,

• y
• 3+y {greater number}

_________________

According to the question,

2y + 3(3 + y) = 19

2y + 9 + 3y = 19

5y = 19 - 9

5y = 10

y = 10/5

y = 2

================

Now, numbers are:-

y = 2
y+3=2+3=5

Numbers : 2 and 5

I hope this will help you
