 \bf \pink{Given,}

  • The ratio of two numbers.
  • The difference between them.

 \bf \pink{To \:  find :- }

The two numbers.

  \bf \pink{How \:  to \:  find :- }

By assuming (5:3) 5x and 7x. Then, according to question we will give it a form of equation. That is 5x - 3x = 18 and will the get the x . Now, will put the value given 5x and 3x we will get the answer.

 \bf \large { \underline{\blue{Solution :- }}}

Let the numbers be 5x and 3x. (5:3)

Now,

A/Q

 \implies \bf \: 5x - 3x = 18 \\  \implies \bf 2x = 18 \\  \implies \bf x =  \frac{ \cancel{18}  \: \:  ^{9} }{ \cancel2}  \\  \therefore \:  \bf \: x = 9 \:

Henceforth,

 \bf \:  5x = 5 \times 9 = 45 \\  \bf \: 3x = 3 \times 9 = 27

So, the numbers are 45 and 27.
