According to question,
2X - 4 : 3X - 4 = 3 : 5
5 ( 2X - 4 ) = 3 ( 3X - 4 )
10X - 20 = 9X - 12
10X - 9X = -12 + 20
X = 8
First number = 2X = 2 × 8 = 16
And,
Second number = 3X = 3 × 8 = 24
