Given:-

  • Two number are in the ratio of 2:3.
  • Product is 600.

Solution:-

Let the numbers be 2x and 3x.

Therefore,

2x \times 3x = 600

 \implies 6 {x}^{2}  = 600

 \implies  {x}^{2}  = 100

 \implies x =  \sqrt{100}

 \implies x =  \pm10

Hence,

2x =  \pm20

3x =  \pm30

Answer:-

  • There are two solutions for the question.
  • The numbers are 20 and 30, or
  • The numbers are -20 and -30.
