Original numbers

SOLUTION :

Let the numbers be 3x and 5x

$\large \sf \: \dfrac{3x + 10}{5x + 10} = \dfrac{5}{7}$

By, Cross Multiplication

$\large \sf \: 7(3x + 10) = 5(5x + 10)$

$\large \sf \: 21x + 70 = 25x + 50$

$\large \sf \: 25x - 21x = 70 - 50$

$\large \sf \: 4x = 20$

$\large \sf \: x \: = \dfrac{20}{4}$

$\large \sf \: x = 5$

Numbers are :-

$\large \sf \pink{3x = 3(5) = 15}$

$\large \sf \red{5x = 5(5) = 25}$
