a=3+b   -----(1)

a x b =504   -------(2)

by substituting eq. (1) and (2),

(3+b)b=504

3b + b∧2 =504

now, a quadratic eq. is formed .....

b∧2 +3b -504 =0

by solving the eq. by quadratic formula we get 2 values of 'b'

ie. (b= -21) and (b=24)

putting b in eq. (1)

(a=-18) and (a=27)
