two number sum is 45 and there hcf and lcm are respectively 3 & 168 . whats their mutual sum?​

product of two numbers=LCM*HCF.

Let the two numbers be x and y.

According to the question;

x*y=135..(1)

&

x+y=24…(2)

From the 1st equation possible combination of numbers can be 15 &9, 45&3, 27&5, 135&1. But of these combinations, the numbers 15&9 only satisfy equation (2).

Hence the numbers are 15&9. And their difference is 15–9=6.
