Two numbers a and b are in the ratio 13 : 17. if 120 is added to a, the ratio changes to 17 : 13. what is the sum of the numbers a and b?

a=13x
b=17x
13x+120/17x+120=17/13
169x+1560=289x+2040
-480/120=-4=x
52+68=120
