The given question can be solved using the following approach.

Given that:

a is 25% more than c ⇒ a = 1.25c_I

b is 45% more than c ⇒ b = 1.45 c_II

d is 10% more than a ⇒ d = 1.1a_III

d is 105 less than b ⇒ b - d = 105_IV

From I and II equations, ⇒ a/b = ( 1.25c ) / ( 1.45 c )

⇒ a/b = 25/29

⇒ 29a = 25b_V

From equation III, d = 1.1a ⇒ a = d/1.1

Substitute a = d/1.1 in equation V

⇒ 29a = 25b

⇒ 29 ( d/1.1 ) = 25b

⇒ 29d = 27.5b

⇒ b = ( 29/27.5 )d

Substitute b = ( 29/27.5 )d in equation IV

⇒ b - d = 105

⇒ ( 29/27.5 )d - d = 105

⇒ 29d - 27.5d = 2887.5

⇒ 1.5d = 2887.5

⇒ d = 2887.5 / 1.5 = 1925

Therefore the value of d is 1925.
