Given, first and second no.s are 20% and 25% less than third respectively.
So we have to assume/choose a third no. then find the first and second Numbers. Then the percent required is to be calculated.
let the 3 rd number be 100
25% less than 100 will be 100(1-(25/100)=75
•°• First No. = 75
//y 20% less will be 80
•°• Second No. = 80
The difference b/w second and third no. is = 80-75= 5
percent by which second number is less than the third = the difference is what percent of third number
=> Required % = (5/100)× 100 = 5%
