The ratio of the first no to the second no will be

13:1 1

Concept Used :-

1) Remember the numbers are

30\% \: and \: 10\% \: more \: than

NOT

30\% \: and \: 10\% \: of

Both types are asked .

In this case after finding 30% of the number we have to add that in the number itself ,only then it will be more than that number.

2) IMP- As we have to find the ratio we don't need to find the actual numbers .we just need the ratio.

So instead of taking x we will assume any number which makes our calculation easier and save time.

Let us assume the third number is 30

30\% \: of \: 30 = 9

30 + 9 = 39 \: \: our \: first \: no

10\% \: of30 = 3

30 + 3 = 33 \: our \: second \: no

Hence the ratio will be

39:33 = 13:11

Hence we don't need to assume X as it will be more time consuming and tougher calculations.
