let, the common factor =x

ratio = 3:4

1st number = 3x

2nd number = 4x

their sum = 8100

ATQ,

3x+4x=8100

= 7x = 8100

= x = 8100/7

x = 1156 aprox.

so, 1st number= 3×1156 = 3468

2nd number= 4×1156 = 4624
