Given that :

Two numbers are in ratio 3:5

Let, the numbers should be 3x and 5x

Also given that when 8 is added each then ratio changes 5:7

Now, according to the question :

 \frac{3x + 8}{5x + 8}  =  \frac{5}{7}  \\  \\  =  > 21x + 56 = 25x + 40 \\  \\  =  > 25x - 21x = 56 - 40 \\  \\  =  > 4x = 16 \\  \\  =  > x = 4

Required numbers :

3x = 3×4 = 12 &

5x = 5×4 = 20

I hope it will be helpful for you ☺
