After adding and subtracting , the numbers where
5x+22
6x-22
Their ratio now,
5x+22/6x-22= 6/5
6(6x-22)=5(5x+22)
36x-132=25x+110
11x= 110+132
11x=242
x=22
The numbers are, 5x=110
6x= 132
the sum of the numbers are 242
