two numbers are in the ratio 1:3 if 20 added to both of them individually than the larger number becomes twice of the smaller number find both the numbers​

let the no.s be x & 3x.

ATQ ,

2(x +20)=3x+20

2x+40=3x+20

x=20

the two numbers are x=20

& 3x= 3 x 20=60.
