Hi !
Let the 1st original number be x
then other original no.is 3x
Now according to question
if we add 2 each other then ratio becomes 1: 2
So, x + 2 /3x + 2 = 1/2
=> 2(x + 2) = 3x + 2
=> 2x + 4 = 3x + 2
=> 4 - 2 = 3x - 2x
=> 2 = x
Hence, 1st original no. is 2
and other original no. is 3* 2 = 6
