Given :-

two number are in the ratio 2:3

difference of their square is 320

solutions,

let the number be 2x and 3x

Now,

square of 2x = (2x)² = 4x²

square of 3x = (3x)² = 9x²

According to questions,

=> 9x² - 4x² = 320

=> 5x² = 320

=> x² = 320/5

=> x² = 64

=> x = \sqrt{64}

=> x = 8

number are :-

i) first no = 2x = 2×8 = 16

ii) second no = 3x = 3×8 = 24
