Given

Two numbers are in the ratio 2:3

HCF of two numbers is 13.

To Find

LCM of two numbers

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

Since the numbers are in the ratio 2:3

let the numbers be 2x and 3x

Thus,the HCF of two numbers is x

given that HCF is 13

so,x=13

so, 2x=2×13=26

3x=3×13=39

We know that

HCF×LCM=product of the two numbers

=>13×LCM=26×39

=>13×LCM=1014

=>LCM=1014÷13

LCM=78

∴LCM of two numbers is \bold{\red{78}}

Check

HCF×LCM=product of two numbers

=>13×78=1014

=>1014=1014
