Let, the numbers be 2x and 3x

According to the question :

$\frac{2x - 4}{3x - 4} = \frac{3}{5} \\ \\ = > 10x - 20 = 9x - 12 \\ \\ = > x = 8$

So, the numbers are : 2×8 = 16 and 3×8 = 24
