Answer:

Let the numbers be 2x and 3x.

∴ 2x + 3x = 650

⇒ 5x = 650

⇒ x = \frac{650}{5} = 130

2x = 130 × 2 = 260

3x = 130 × 3 = 390

The numbers are 260 and 390.

Given:-

The sum of the numbers is 650.

Numbers are in ratio 2:3.

Let:-

The numbers are 2x and 3x respectively.

According to Question:-

==> 2x + 3x = 650

==> 5x = 650

==> x = 650/5

==> x = 130

Therefore:-

First number = 2x = 2*130 = 260

Second number = 3x = 3*130 = 390
