Let the numbers be x and y respectively

x³  + 27x³/8 = 280

35x³ = 280*8

x³ = 2240/35

x³ = 64

x = 4

y = 3x/2

y = (3 *4)/2

y = 12/2

y = 6

The numbers are 4 and 6 which are in ratio 2 : 3 and sum of their cubes is 280.
