let the numbers be 2x,3x

the difference of their cubes =9,728

A.T.Q,

(3x)3-(2x)3=9,728

2+x3 - 8x 3 = 9, 728

x9 = 512

x=8

2x=2× 8 =16

3x = 3×8 = 24
