Two numbers are in the ratio 2:3 . The larger number is 30 more than half of the smaller number. Find the numbers????? ​

Ratio of the numbers = 2:3

Let 1 part of the ratio be x

Therefore,

Numbers = 2x and 3x

The larger number is 30 more than half of the smaller number.

3x = 30 + 2x/2

3x = 30 + x

3x - x = 30

x = 30/2

x = 15

Therefore,

Larger number = 3x = 3 x 15 = 45

Smaller number = 2x = 2 x 15 = 30
