Two numbers are in the ratio 3:2 and the difference between them is 9 . Find the numbers​

Let the numbers be x

✒3x-2x=9

✒-2x=9/3

✒x=3/2

Applying in statement:-

3/2×3=>18/2

=>9

3/2×2=>12/2

=>6

hence the numbers are 9 and 6.

And when the get cancelled they can also be written as 3/2

What is ratio?

=>A ratio can also be called a fraction but it is not totally a fraction. In ratio there are no units i,e., it is unitless.

As both the numbers have same units and they get cancelled.
