if added by 6 then numbers changes to 24 and 30 which is in the ratio 4:5

Thus the numbers are 18 and 24

Ratio of numbers = 3:4

So the numbers be 3x , 4x

Given '6' is added to each term, ratio will be 4:5

(3x + 6)/(4x + 6) = 4/5

5*(3x + 6) = 4*(4x + 6)

15x + 30 = 16x + 24

x = 6

3x = 3*6 = 18... 4x = 4*6 = 24

Hence numbers are 18 and 24.
