Giveɳ:-Two numbers are in the ratio 3 : 5

Nᴇᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ:- The second number

Let 2 numbers be 3× and 5×

Therefore,

➛3x - 6 / 5x - 6 = 12/23

➛23 ( 3x - 9 ) = 12 ( 5x - 9 )

➛69 x - 60 x = 207 - 108

➛9x = 99

➛x = 11 ✰⋆

Fɪɴᴅɪɴɢ ʙᴏᴛʜ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀs :-

  • First number , 3x = 3 (11) = 33

  • Second number, 5x = 5 (11) = 55
