Let ratio= 3x and 5x

\huge\mathfrak{According to Question}

Given:-

9 is subtracted by both ratio

3x-9 and 5x-9

3x-9/5x-9 = 12/23

By using Cross Multiplication

12(5x-9)=23(3x-9)

60x-108=69x-207

60x-69x=-207+108

9x=99

x=9/99

x=11

\huge\boxed{x=11}

Let, the numbers be 3x and 5x

if 9 is subtracted from both then the numbers be (3x-9) and (5x-9)

Now, according to the question :

 \frac{3x - 9}{5x - 9}  =  \frac{12}{23}  \\  \\  =  > 69x - 207 = 60x - 108 \\  \\  =  > 9x = 99 \\  \\  =  > x = 11

Numbers are : 3x = 3×11 = 33 and

5x = 5×11 = 55
