let the original numbers be x and y
x/y=3/5
5x=3y
x=3/5 y
x+10/y+10=5/7
7x+70=5y+50
7x-5y=-20
21/5y -5 =-20
-4y/5=-20
y=25 Ans
x=3/5 y =3/5×25=15 Ans
x/y=3/5
5x=3y
x=3/5 y
x+10/y+10=5/7
7x+70=5y+50
7x-5y=-20
21/5y -5 =-20
-4y/5=-20
y=25 Ans

Let the ratio, 3:5 be taken as 3x and 5x.
If the ratios are increased by 10 :-
3x+10 and 5x+10
=> 3x+10+5x+10=5x+7x
=>8x+20=12x
=>8x-12x=-20
=>-4x=-20
=>x=-20/-4
=>5
Therefore,the original ratio 3x and 5x are:-
3x= 3×5= 15 , 5x= 5×5= 25
