Explanation:-

Let the number be x

3x + 5x = 184

8x = 184

x = $\frac{184}{8}$

x = 23

1st number = 3x = 3 × 23 = 69

2nd number = 5x = 5 × 23 = 115

The Difference of two numbers :-

= 115 - 69

= 46

∴ The Difference of two numbers is 46
