Let the numbers be 3x and 5x.

Then ,

5x+10

3x+10

=

7

5

or 7(3x+10)=5(5x+10)

∴4x=20orx=5

So, the numbers are 15, 25.

Answer:

option a

(. 24 , 40 )

Step-by-step explanation:

let the two numbers be "3x" and "5x"

Sum of two numbers = 64

3x + 5x = 64

8x = 64

x =  \frac{64}{8}  = 8

Hence , two numbers are

  • 3x = 3 × 8 = 24
  • 5x = 5 × 8 = 40

Verification:-

24 + 40 = 64
