Let First number= 3x

Second number= 4x

According to statement

3x+8 /4x+8 =4/5

5(3x +8) = 4(4x + 8)

15x + 40 = 16x + 32

15x - 16X = 32 -40

-x = -8

x=8

Therefore, First number= 3x

= 3×8

= 24

Second number=4x

= 4×8

=32

\green {ANSWER}

Let First number= 3x

Second number= 4x

According to question:-

 =>  \frac{3x + 8}{4x + 8}  =  \frac{4}{5}

 => 5(3x + 8) = 4(4x + 8)

 => 15x + 40 = 16x + 32

 => 15x - 16x = 32 - 40

 =>  - x =  - 8

x = 8

Therefore, 3x= 3×8

= 24

and, 4x= 4×8

= 32
