Answer : 55,121

Step-by-step explanation :

First number = x

Second number = yx/y = 5/11

x = 5a

y = 11a

The numerator is increased by 5 and denominator is decreased by 1. So the equation will be in the form of

5a + 5/11a-1 = 1/2

After cross multiplication u get

10a + 10 = 11a - 1

Transposing 10a right side and 1 left side.

10 + 1 = 11a - 10a

11 = a

x = 5a = 5 × 11 = 55

y = 11a = 11 × 11 = 121

Therefore the numbers are 55,121
