Hey mate!!

Following are the steps and the solution:

Let the ratio be 'x'

Hence, 5x-3x=18

2x=18

x=

 \frac{18}{2}

=9

Therefore, first number= 5×9= 45

Second number= 3×9= 27

Hope it helps.
